
Salon Policies
At Alva Salon, our promise is to provide every guest with an exceptional experience. We want your time in our chair to feel seamless, relaxing, and completely personalized. To protect that experience for all, we have a few policies in place.
✧ Late Arrivals
To keep your service running smoothly, we kindly ask that you arrive on time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, a $25 late fee will be applied. In some cases, services may need to be adjusted or rescheduled, and applicable fees may still apply.
✧ Cancellations & No-Shows
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. When appointments are missed or canceled without adequate notice, it impacts both your stylist’s time and other guests hoping for openings.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the service total will be charged.
No-shows: 100% of the service total will be charged.
We understand that unexpected things can happen. On rare occasions, at our discretion, we may extend grace or adjust fees in unique situations.
✧Children & Visitors
While we love community and family, our salon environment is designed to be calm and focused. For this reason, we kindly ask that children and additional visitors do not accompany you unless they are receiving a service. Brief exceptions may be considered, but for longer appointments—such as full color or extension installs—we ask that alternate arrangements be made.
✧Payments
A credit card is required to reserve all appointments, and charges are processed in accordance with our cancellation and no-show policies. While credit card is our preferred method of payment, we do accept cash. We do not accept personal checks.
✧Retail Purchases
Unopened products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Opened or gently used products may be returned within 30 days for a 50% refund.
✧Service Guarantee and Adjustments
We want every guest to leave feeling confident and cared for. If you have any concerns with your service, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We do not offer refunds, but we are happy to make adjustments within this timeframe to ensure you love your results.
✧Our Commitment to You
We deeply value the trust you place in us and are committed to honoring your time as well. In the rare event that we are running significantly behind, we extend the same courtesy and fairness we ask of you.
