Salon Policies

At ALVA, appointments are intentionally one-on-one and reserved just for you. These policies help protect the time, care, and experience created for every guest.

✧ Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time so your appointment can run smoothly. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your service may need to be adjusted or rescheduled, and a $25 late arrival fee may apply.

✧ Cancellations & No-Shows

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. When appointments are missed or canceled without enough notice, it impacts both my schedule and other guests hoping for an opening.

◆ Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service total.
◆ No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service total.
◆ Late arrivals over 15 minutes may need to be rescheduled, and a $25 late arrival fee may apply.

I understand that life happens. On rare occasions, grace may be extended at my discretion.

If I ever need to cancel due to illness, family emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, you will never be charged, and I’ll reach out as soon as possible to reschedule you.

✧ Color Corrections

Hair with previous box color or major color changes (such as going significantly lighter or darker) should be booked as a Color Correction, not a standard color appointment.

Because box color can be unpredictable, I always recommend starting with a consultation so we can create a personalized plan before scheduling your color correction. This allows enough time to safely achieve your desired result while protecting the health of your hair.

✧Children & Visitors

While I love community and family, appointments at ALVA are designed to be calm, personalized, and one-on-one. To help preserve that experience for every guest, I kindly ask that children and additional visitors not accompany you unless they're receiving a service. If a brief exception is needed, please let me know in advance. For longer appointments, such as color or extension services, I ask that alternate arrangements be made whenever possible.

✧Payments

A credit card is required to reserve all appointments, and charges are processed according to the cancellation, no-show, and late arrival policies. Credit card is preferred, but cash is accepted. Personal checks are not accepted.

✧Retail Purchases

Unopened products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Opened or gently used products may be returned within 30 days for a 50% refund.

✧Service Guarantee and Adjustments

I want you to leave feeling confident and cared for. If you have any concerns with your service, please reach out within 7 days of your appointment. Refunds are not offered, but adjustments may be made within this timeframe when appropriate.

✧My Commitment to You

I deeply value the trust you place in me and am committed to honoring your time, too. In the rare event that I am running significantly behind, I’ll extend the same courtesy and fairness I ask of you.
